AOPA High School Aviation Curriculum

In the fall of 2017, Saint Andrew’s School launched an aviation partnership with the Lynn University College of Aeronautics with the goal of establishing a pathway for students to obtain their Private Pilot FAA-issued license.

During the 2023-2024 school year, Saint Andrew’s is taking steps to develop its own program based on the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA) curriculum, a nationally recognized program. The AOPA Foundation High School Aviation STEM Curriculum is the first of its kind, offering students comprehensive four-year aviation study options from grade 9 through grade 12. The courses are designed to capture the imagination and give students from diverse backgrounds the tools to pursue advanced education and careers in aviation fields.

Stay tuned as we post more information about this exciting innovative program here at Saint Andrew’s School for the 2025-2026 school year.
